Who We are

I LOVE TO BE OUTSIDE.

I LOVE TO GROW THINGS.

I LOVE PRETTY THINGS AND THINGS THAT SMELL GOOD AND HAVE A PURPOSE.

SO, NATURALLY, I WAS DRAWN TO LAVENDER…

… A LOT of lavender. I researched and visited farms around the world looking for the best varieties, practices and products and that led me to my home.

The North Fork Valley of Colorado is ideal for lavender with its dry weather, high quality soil and good drainage. The farm began in 2020 with 500 lavender plants. Currently, we have over 1,300 plants. Our varieties include, Royal Velvet, Riverina Thomas, Munstead, Gros Bleu, Super, Miss Katherine, Maillette, Provence, French Fields, Grosso, Phenomenal, New Zealand Blue, Edelweiss and my favorite, Avice Hill. Currently, we are not Certified Organic, but follow organic practices, purchase organic plants, when available, and will soon be able to head down the path of certification.  Lavender has led me to seek growing other beautiful and beneficial flowers and herbs like Calendula, Chamomile, Echinacea, Comfrey and Bee Balm, just to name a few

We are also a working cattle ranch. We are located on Wakefield Mesa (about 7,000 ft. in elevation) overlooking the town of Paonia and the amazing beauty of the North Fork Valley. From our farm and ranch, we can see from The Raggeds to the North all the way to the Uncompahgres to the South. Often known as Colorado’s “Banana Belt”, it is an ideal place for cattle and  a lavender farm.
