Refund policy

Returns & Refunds

We accept returns for non-personal care and non-food items within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging (with any tags/insert materials included). You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, contact us at kristi@balconybotanicals.com. If your return is approved, we’ll provide a return shipping label and instructions. Items sent back without requesting a return first will not be accepted.

Return Shipping
If your return is approved for reasons other than damage/our error, return shipping may be deducted from your refund (or you may be responsible for return shipping, depending on the label provided). If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll make it right.


Damages, Defects & Wrong Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us at kristi@balconybotanicals.com within 7 days if your item is damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item. Include your order number and a photo of the item and packaging when possible so we can evaluate the issue quickly.


Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns on:

  • Personal care / beauty products (including soaps, lip balms, oils, lotions, salves, etc.)

  • Food / perishable goods

  • Custom or special-order items

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.

If you’re unsure whether an item is returnable, email us before purchasing or returning.


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. The quickest way to get what you want is to return an eligible item (if approved) and place a new order.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you whether your refund is approved. If approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund.
